Terms and Conditions

Legal Standing:
The Indian Institute of Science and Technology Education and Research (IISTER) is recognized as a legal institution under the provisions of the Constitution of India. It operates as an Independent, un-aided, Autonomous Professional Institution (API) with the right to impart education and conduct examinations.
Academic Qualification Membership Certificates:
Academic Qualification Membership Certificates will be conferred upon students upon successful completion of courses or passing final examinations.
Recognition for Employment:
Membership examinations, a traditional form of education in India, are recognized for government jobs and are eligible for various entrance examinations in the country. Certificates issued by IISTER at professional degree and diploma levels, vocational diplomas, PGDs, and skill training certificates are eligible for registration in all employment exchanges in India and are endorsable.
Recognition by Private Industries:
Courses offered by IISTER are recognized by reputable private industries in India and abroad. Graduates of IISTER can seek employment in private industries and pursue higher education in private universities. However, the institute does not guarantee higher studies or employment based solely on its certificates.
Non-Recognition by Regulatory Bodies:
IISTER does not fall under the purview of UGC/AICTE/AIU/DEC Acts and does not claim equivalence to certificates or degrees awarded by statutory boards or institutions. The decision regarding the eligibility of IISTER certificates for government jobs and admission in government universities is at the discretion of the concerned authorities, following the present policies of AICTE and MHRD.
Right to Modify Terms and Conditions:
IISTER reserves the right to alter, modify, or delete any terms and conditions, including fee structures and examination procedures.
Non-Refundable Fees:
Once enrolled in a program, students acknowledge that the fees paid are non-refundable.
Enrollment by Personal Will:
Students enroll in programs of their own will and choice. Any objection raised against the program or certificate after enrollment may lead to legal consequences.
Statutory Recognition Concerns:
Students concerned about the statutory recognition of the program need not apply for admission.
Institution Status:
Indian Institute of Science and Technology Education and Research (IISTER) is a recognized autonomous institution dedicated to non-formal education, vocational training, and skill development under the constitutional framework of India.
Certification Criteria:
Academic Qualification Membership Certificates are conferred upon students upon successful course completion or passing final examinations, providing a valuable acknowledgment of their educational achievements.
Professional Recognition:

Refund Policy:
Once enrolled in a program, fees are non-refundable. This policy ensures commitment from both the institution and the student throughout the course duration.
Voluntary Enrollment:
Students enroll in IISTER programs voluntarily, having made a conscious decision after evaluating the value of the program and the associated certificates. Any objections raised post-enrollment may lead to legal consequences.
Statutory Recognition Awareness:
Students concerned about statutory recognition should exercise due diligence before applying for programs at IISTER. The institution remains transparent about its status, and students are encouraged to make informed decisions aligned with their career goals.
